Graeme’s successor, Mike Harker, had an existing relationship with Mick Boyle, Abergeldie Founder Chief Executive; they established collaborative ownership in 2017 when Harker Underground officially became Abergeldie Harker. In the next couple of years, Abergeldie worked to establish a name in the New Zealand market. Abergeldie took 100% ownership of Abergeldie Harker in 2019, bringing over 25 years’ experience in major infrastructure projects ranging from bridge and road construction, rail infrastructure and overhead wiring, as well as wastewater pipeline rehabilitation, tunnelling.
