Abergeldie commenced its first Yass Council roads project at Burrinjuck Road, Burrinjuck NSW.
Burrinjuck Road upgrade is commissioned and funded by RMS as a response to serious flood damage (natural disaster repair works) to the Burrinjuck area and in particular Burrinjuck Road a number of years ago. The Abergeldie scope of works consists of slope and embankment stabilisation and remediation/erosion protection works to 11 sites along a 20km stretch of road. Abergeldie are currently installing geotextiles, rock gabions and rock mattresses to rectify future erosion problems. Works are due to be completed by the end of May 2013.
