New appointments reflect growth in Queensland

Recently there have been several key appointments to our company in Queensland (QLD), signalling our focus on growth in the region.

Earlier this year, Michael McCaffrey was appointed to the role of General Manager, QLD. Michael’s commercial management skills and extensive experience across water, wastewater, stormwater, gas, electrical and road infrastructure has greatly enhanced the growing QLD team and has assisted with the recent success.

The Precontracts team in QLD has also recently expanded, with Daniel Hassed re-joining the company in the role of Senior Estimator and Kathy Patterson joining as Precontracts Administrator. Kathy is leading the preparation and submission of tenders for QLD. Project Managers, Megan Turnbull and Matthew Smith have also recently joined the growing QLD team. Both bring extensive experience in delivering water and wastewater projects.

Abergeldie’s success in QLD continues to build momentum, with several newly awarded complex infrastructure projects. Most recently, Abergeldie was selected to deliver Unitywater’s Caboolture South Recycled Water Disinfection Facility Project as well as two new projects with Sunwater.

Abergeldie CEO, Mark Bruzzone said “The growth of our business in Queensland is a key part of the Abergeldie strategy.
