Abergeldie selected on Watercare’s Wastewater Pipeline Renewals Panel as part of a $3.5b asset renewal programme

Abergeldie is thrilled to announce it has been selected for a panel to deliver a large, five-year programme of works to renew and replace wastewater infrastructure in Auckland, New Zealand. The programme includes pump stations, trunk sewers, rising mains and gravity mains.

Our selection to this panel follows a 3-month rigorous selection process, which aimed to increase efficiency, improve quality and consistency whilst providing certainty of a planned works programme to help contractors to invest in people and technology to support the works.

Alastair Blackler, General Manager said “We are pleased to be working with Watercare on this programme of works to upgrade and renew Auckland’s wastewater pipelines. Our collaborative approach, technical expertise and experience, self-perform capability, and our commitment to safety and broader outcomes to build better communities all contributed to our selection on this panel. We are looking forward to collaborating with Watercare on this work programme.”
