A keen group of Abergeldie volunteers will participate in Walk for Water, to raise awareness and funds for people around the world to access clean water. Next week, the team will walk, run or cycle for one hour per day for five days.
Sadly, WaterAid estimates 771 million people – one in ten- do not have access to clean water close to home. Each day, women and children across the world are walking long distances to collect and carry water for their families, many spending hours each day to do so and reducing their time to attend school.
