Abergeldie is pleased to continue its long-standing partnership with Vinnies NSW, recently signing a further five-year sponsorship agreement. This commitment will see Abergeldie provide financial support and volunteering efforts from its staff, reinforcing the company’s dedication to giving back to the communities where its people live and work.
This year, Abergeldie CEO Mark Bruzzone has also been named as an ambassador for the annual Vinnies CEO Sleepout, which in 2024 raised over $8M. Mark will participate in the event for the fifth time in June, raising awareness and funds to help Vinnies provide food, shelter, and assistance to Australians at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Abergeldie’s has proudly partnered with Vinnies for nearly two decades. Founders Mick Boyle and his wife Robin have been longtime supporters of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout and Vinnies Van in Western Sydney. Mick was among the first participants in the CEO Sleepout and served on the advisory committee for the event for several years, while Robin has led Abergeldie volunteers to assist with setting up the event. The company has also been a proud sponsor of the Vinnies Van since 2008, with employees volunteering monthly to prepare and distribute food and support to those in need across Western Sydney. Additionally, several staff have taken part in the Western Sydney Community Sleepout, helping to raise awareness of homelessness and drive positive change.
Mark Bruzzone, CEO, said, "We are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Vinnies NSW, and I am very honoured to be given the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for the CEO Sleepout. From the very beginning, in line with our mission to build better communities, Abergeldie has maintained a policy of giving back and we feel privileged to continue supporting Vinnies and the vital work they do to help those in need.”
