Abergeldie has been awarded a contract by Blacktown City Council to deliver upgrades to Railway Terrace at Schofields. This project is funded by the NSW Government (Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure) under the Special Infrastructure Contributions (SIC) grant. This essential project will support the growing development demands in the area and includes upgrades to approximately 1.7 kilometres of Railway Terrace, stretching from Riverstone Road in the north to Schofields Road in the south.

The upgrades will include road widening, kerb and gutter works, stormwater drainage upgrades, bike path and pedestrian pathway upgrades, landscaping works, driveways and layback, retaining wall adjacent to Sydney Trains boundary, on-street parking, line marking and associated signage, pedestrian crossing, utilities upgrades and diversions.

CEO, Mark Bruzzone said, “We’re thrilled to be delivering these important upgrades at Schofields to support the growing community and help keep pace with the land development. Our team is looking forward to mobilising to site, applying its extensive expertise in delivering similar complex road upgrade projects to successfully deliver this key project in Schofields in Sydney’s north west.”
