Central Interceptor TBM Officially Named

Earlier this month, the Central Interceptor TBM was officially named  Hiwa-i-te-Rangi, after one of the Matariki stars to which Māori send their dreams or aspirations for the new year.  Students from around the area along the Central Interceptor route cast the votes.  Hiwa-i-te-Rangi won by 100 votes.

Hiwa-i-te-Rangi also recently passed its  official Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Germany. Watch the video via Watercare's YouTube channel here.
