Effective infrastructure relocation and community coordination

Abergeldie has provided critical constructability input to manage the numerous latent underground services, significantly aiding the relocation of infrastructure such as power poles. Our expertise with key utilities, particularly Ausgrid, has expedited the approvals process. Additionally, the team has coordinated with adjacent contractors working on station platform extensions.

Given the sensitive nature of moving power poles, our team has engaged with the community to ensure minimal disruption. By working flexibly with the client to maximise trackwork during weekends and implementing extensive traffic management while coordinating with local stakeholders, we have minimised impacts on residents.

Futureproofing the rail network

This project will enhance power delivery to our rail network, increase service capacity, and ensure a reliable backup power supply.
