Upper Hunter Shire Council Sewer Relining Program
Abergeldie has been working with Upper Hunter Shire Council to deliver an annual package of work over the last two years to improve the ongoing serviceability of sewer networks in the Upper Hunter Shire, renewing up to 4km of sewer pipeline. The works are varied, with pipelines ranging in diameter from 150-300mm and renewed and repaired using trenchless methodologies recommended by our team.
Scope of works
The annual package of work typically includes:
- Ex PVC fold and form pipe, 150 – 300 mm.
- Standard CIPP.
- UV Liner System.
- CIPP Liner.
- Spot repairs and lateral sealing of junctions.
- Cleaning, root cutting and CCTV inspections.
Detailed planning to ensure key milestones are achieved
Comprehensive construction management plans are compiled for all aspects of the pipeline renewal works. The plans detail the trenchless techniques required to complete the work as well as the safety and environmental controls to be put in place to minimise risks.
Our team works closely with the Upper Hunter Shire Council team to ensure residents, businesses and the wider community is informed on the works that are occurring and where possible engage with local businesses and service providers to ensure they can also benefit.
