Western Sydney Community Sleepout

The inaugural Western Sydney Community Sleepout will be held on Thursday 30 August 2018 at the Western Sydney University (WSU) Parramatta South Campus in Rydalmere. Building on the years of success of the CEO Sleepout, the participants will be given nothing more than a beanie, a sheet of cardboard and a cup of soup and will be responsible for finding their place to bed down for the night on the grass of WSU Campus.

The Western Sydney Community Sleepout is an opportunity to raise awareness, change attitudes and affect change in the levels of housing stress, disadvantage and homelessness in our local community.

Larry Hegarty and Ivan Reolon from Abergeldie will participate sleeping rough for the night and a number of others have raised their hands to volunteer on the night.  Together, we are building a better community.
